Space Proven | Field Proven
On April 22nd, 2023, Evolution demonstrated its hypersonic capabilities with the successful test launch of the EVO-4 rocket. This 21.5 ft long and 10.2 inch diameter rocket, powered by Evolution's proprietary solid propulsion system, achieved a velocity of Mach 5.2 and a peak altitude of 124.5 km. By surpassing the Kármán line, Evolution became the ninth privately funded US company to reach space, solidifying its position as a leader in solid rocket motors and hypersonic propulsion systems.
